It was pretty underwhelming. The plans for Sting vs Taker fell through and it seems that the disappointment from that lingered through the buildup and they just didn't really try to book any other great matches.
Miz had no business being in the main event, if you were going to put someone as just a placeholder because you know the attention is going to be on rock/cena anyways, they should have put someone else in that spot that they wanted to build up. Maybe even dolph.
Punk vs Randy was really underwhelming. The match should have been a lot better and Randy winning made no sense at all and just killed off the heat Punk was building since he came back as commentator for a while then turned heel in early 2011.
The rest of the matches i won't even get into. Edge was lazily booked from 2008 onwards and Del Rio was also booked horribly despite being a good heel. The WHC was beginning to mean so little during this time and they did nothing to salvage it.
The Corre was fucking liquid dogshit.
Cody vs Rey was good.
Again, it seems that the Sting match falling through discouraged them from really trying to make it a good mania and it just became a launching pad for rock/cena.
The stage was one of the best they ever had though. The lighting, entrances, presentation, it was all perfect. This and 29 were the last manias to have a blue theme due to it being odd numbered.
