I'm only starting to thin, so I'm trying to catch it early. They recommend me the hair plugs, and even then you can choose between 1 to 3 treatments. Apparently 2 was good for me, which costs over AU$8000. They said I have to be careful cutting it as it won't grow back, so I'm not sure it's worth it. On the plus side, they said I'll get a personal barber included as they work on me.
For surgery, it isn't so much a 'transplant' but rather they actually scalp you and pull your skin further up your head. You'll be left with scars, but they'll be hidden under the hair.
I'm not sure whether to go through with it. Family told me to just own it and not be ashamed of myself. Male relatives have fiveheads, but never go bald, so I'm hoping I've already suffered the worst of it.
