I don’t understand why all this new blood are sawdusting themselves to become champ. Back in /asp/ territory, it was about consistency. I got my gimmick over by posting this one image with one word at the same time every day when I was on lunch break. I might not have ever hit the ceiling of my career, but I was consistently over, without being overbearing, and the crowd respected that.
/pw/, as a whole, has one problem - the marks are in the ring. And until this current crop of talent realises this, there will be no more organic stars made on this board. You look at legends like Deanmark and Yelissa and you think “fuck the old guard, who cares about them!” But, you don’t realise that no matter how much you force it, you can’t become like them because you don’t understand the concept of quality over quantity.
