It is a fun little hobby and if any of the people down at the farmers market are interested in where their eggs and sausage come from they can check it out to see that the animals are raised in a good environment and live much better lives than they would if they were born at some frankenfactory farm. Occasionally I get an email from some parent in the city that wants to show their kids what life is like on the farm and so they come down and I show them the fields and orchard, let the kids feed the chickens, hold the rabbits, and pull carrots to feed the horses.
