was /pw/ always big into wrestling? or was it something you guys started watching as an adult? I vaguely remember being single digits and watching monday night nitro with my friends, but it wasn't until around 2000 when I started to really watch it.

I really envy those of you that were big into wrestling as kids and actually went to live events and followed your favorite talent.

My earliest memories are Mankind and Undertaker, I remember 1997 with Bret and whatnot, I saw my dad flipping through the channels because of the Monday night wars cause of Goldberg/Stone Cold on the same time. I mostly remember the ruthless aggression era and the batshit insane storylines like Brock and Zach Gowen, Kane and Shane McMahon, etc. Seeing some of that as a kid was completely shocking.

So yeah, Bull turned on Jimmy Valiant and joined Paul Jones’s army of misfits. For some reason they gave Jones Rude when he came in…Jones had some real shitters, but this ended up being a real good team.

Rude was out quick and over to WWE. Guy was in Florida with Percy Pringle, World Class with Pringle, Crockett then WWE (where he got Heenan) within 2-3 years. Moved fast even for the territories.

I was back in the early to mid 80s. I remember in 4th grade we used to practice moves on each other, figure four leg locks and sleeper holds.
Then in 5th grade we all bragged about who had the biggest collection of PWI magazines. I still have mine too, dating back to 1983. There's a pic of 7 year old me in 83 next to my LJN wrestling posters. Fucking geeky and skinny as hell.

I watched it a lot as a kid but grew out of it around the time Benoit happened. My younger brothers then got into it in the mid 2010s and I started watching with them. Ironically, now they've grow out of it and I'm still watching.
