Karl did nothing with the belt and the most it was seen was occasionally when he would walk out with it on Impact, him and Gallows then signed to WWE and are going to get that Saudi Arabia money with AJ Styles on the same day Karl was schedule to defend the belt at a NJPW event against Hikuleo, the Good Brothers a few days ago uploaded a tweet saying that the NJPW match hadn't been booked through Gallows, Karl's booker, and they would not show up and he wouldn't vacate the title either.
So TLDR Karl joined WWE when he was the NEVER champion and got booked in Saudi same day he was supposed to defend it.
