Balliyan Akki (27) is unforunately returning to the United States; this time as a member of tag team "Best Bros." with Mei Suruga (23).
In July, Akki left Japan for a three-month tour of the United States. He was somehow able to appear in the ring of AEW, despite lacking every quality to compete in a major promotion. However, he failed to leave an impression and didn't gain any recognition. As a result, he was faced with the harsh reality of not being able to find much work.
Perhaps overestimating the popularity of ChocoPro, the YouTube brand of local Japanese promotion Gatoh Move, Akki would try to sell the group's merchandise at the few events he was able to participate in. According to sources, his merchandise lines were pathetically barren and he was reminded of his status in the vast wrestling world.
Unfortunately, the Indian wrestler plans to try again in November, and has fallen so low that he will rely on his far more popular tag team partner to get bookings.
