No they weren't. He was out of breath 60 seconds in to every match he had and all of his offense looked even shitter than it did before he retired from wrestling. And then of course there was all the aforementioned botching and the fact the faggot couldn't be within 2 feet of a world title belt without breaking every bone is his body. I'd rather watch a heatless Dante Martin spotfest for 10 minutes than another 40 minute long CM Punk slog where he fucks up every other move he tries to do.

I was hyped for him initially, but outside of the MJF, and to a lesser extent the Kingston match, I didn't care too much. And I probably only like the two I mentioned because the feud was being carried by two guys who can promo.

The problem with Punk is that his moveset is pretty boring compared to most of the AEW roster. I think he only excelled in WWE because he was by far the best promo outside of Cena at the time.

Unironically yes, his work in AEW wasn’t great, but it was some of the only watchable stuff the company put out.
WWPEE is still unwatchable and I’m on the verge of dropping gAyEW, most of the wrestling content I’ve been consuming recently is 80’s territory stuff on youtube.

MJF hit the nail on the head months back. He's better than everyone else because he makes you feel. Obviously hyperbolic because it's a promo but Punk makes you feel, makes you feel more than the young cucks or blowmega ever will.
