Now he is either collard because everything he used to say is now offensive, or what I suspect is he's had 2 kids now (with like a 20 year age gap) and he is at the point of his life where he has a daily routine, and gets extremely pissed off if anything causes him to deviate from that routine. Like he's a try nothing new stick in the mud type now.
