>>7696544I really don't think it would harm the Mexican scene one bit. There is so much lucha going on at local levels and to this day, I feel like we don't even know about a lot of it. I'd love to see what a WWE take on Lucha would look like though.
On the other hand, I don't know how well NXT Japan would do. Japan's not that big and it has way too many promotions competing for fans, mostly all in Tokyo. Anyone not named NJPW or Dragon Gate can't really afford to lose anyone to something like this. The only good thing is that they may train a bunch of people and perhaps some of their rejects would end up elsewhere.
