Sabu's legit in a way that still makes me wonder how much of it is a work and how much he's actually just mad.

He's also charismatic, he has a distinct look and he was very influential. Many things that are now considered normal were first seen in US by Sabu. People don't really realize how big thing he was in 93-95.

He won the award for readers favorite wrestler which is one of the cases where people really went against what Meltzer likes. Meltzer has never cared for Sabu and Sabu would be much more highly rated nowadays if he did.
