This is skewed, as being a mascot is shoot a year-round, full-time job. They are sent places all the time, and more importantly, get paid by third parties to appear at events. So local businesses and sponsors will pay NBA teams hundreds of thousands of dollars combined per year to have this dude in a suit high-five randos at a parking lot cookout.
