Nobody took the streak match seriously, I don't even remember that many people caring about it. He definitely needed that build he never got. But somehow it still ignited Brock and he's been mostly hot since.

no, it was a shit test to see if Brock was going to have an ego about doing business or not. Brock passed so he was given big wins over guys like Triple H and later completely annihilated Cena to the point where no one remembers this match.
