Nothing went wrong, it's 20+ years old and a lot of the original userbase died or lost interest. They didn't really attract younger posters, it went the way of Something Awful.

They became too much of a smark crowd. When choosing the gobbledy or whatever they call their worst of the year award (and yes I know is voted by users) instead of choosing things like the zombie match in WWE or that exploding firecracker match in AEW they voted for the birth of NXT 2.0 because muh heckin black & gold flipperinos
