No it is pretty different. The RKO is faster and more sudden so the whole OUTTA NOWHERE gimmick worked really well and produced some great spots. This is just convoluted and slow.

Yeah, the fact that a finisher can come from out of nowhere so quickly makes it particularly based. I love how Jay White's booking has established that he can hit the Blade Runner anytime in a match and put away a main eventer. Its one of the only finishers that you hear the crowd literally gasp for when he does the brief setup before he hits it. It reminds me of Stan Hansen grabbing his elbowpad before the lariat.
