I guess the money matches with Austin, Rock, and Undertaker all could’ve happened, but I think the world title picture at the time was so solid, and the newcomers coming into the fold were so deserving, that I can’t picture Sting running with the belt, which he should.
I’d either have him come in and put him in the Jericho spot. Make Sting the guy who wins both world titles. Or have Sting come in at WrestleMania 27/28 to face the Undertaker and win. Then have feuds with Punk, Cena, Triple H, Lesnar, Orton, etc. He’d likely win the World title, but I’d have him maybe win the WWE title before Punk started his long reign
