I honestly liked Punk in WWE and when he exposed Cabana for being a simp, then thought he became a complete pussy for the MMA fiasco and taking the gig at Fox covering WWE. Didn’t care about his return to AEW and thought he looked like shit.

However…
>gets huge deal from Tony Khan
>beats everyone
>two title reigns
>biggest PPV buys, biggest Rampage audience, pops highest ratings on multiple shows
>does real pipe bomb
>shoot beats up two Bucks and restores some credibility
>gets paid to sit home
>getting multimillion dollar buyout from Tony
>most talked about man in AEW by their shrinking, sensitive fan base obsessed with drama
>could now go back to WWE for a last stand and get paid again
>retired for good in his 40s

He was KWAB of the year (gave it to Tony) and now I respect his backstage politicking.
