Too many opportunities out there and too little patience. I’m friends with some of the American Young Lions and they all want to go to Japan, which they had to wait a long time for. Fredericks was being dicked around. Imagine putting in 2 years of blood, sweat and tears every day and you’re not booked for Japan but someone random like Bad Dude Tito comes out of nowhere to get booked (Tito’s great but still).

Wrestlers these days debut too fast, except CMLL that makes you crawl every fucking step (with some exceptions)

Here's how the Young Lion system works as is.
We take you in. You fight on the prematch of shows for maybe 4 years, then we put you out on excursion for 3-4 years, then when you come back you just FLOURISH in the midcard for another couple of years before you can even sniff a main event.
Then you're already 38.
