I don't understand why they can't do chair shots to the head where the person taking it has their hands up to protect the blow. It still looks like a regular chair shot to the head. In kayfabe it's as if you tried to protect yourself but it wasn't enough. And in reality you didn't take a chair shot to the head, you took it to the hands.
