Their own fans in Japan don't like this shit, even pointing out how shitty they look a day after NOAH dropped the Muta/Nakamura announcement. This isn't getting good heat or good publicity anywhere, they look incompetent.

I see what you're saying now, but Muta's retiring and I'm sure they're going to try and have a payoff for the title business. The fact that they had promos and made this a storyline kind of avoids making them look bad, if they handled it poorly or stripped him then they would look like clowns. It went from a match nobody knew about to at least being talked about and the aim is probably foreign fans subscribing again, although not sure if that'll happen.
