Who is concerned with facts? All these dudes do is ask their friends what they think and then report it. There are no facts. We still have no information at all except Dave saying that "Punk's side told him" with that ambiguous source obviously being just someone who prefers Punk to the Bucks. No one actually involved has commented, which has been admitted so he's just posting random speculation.
Even before anything was reported, Dave and Alvarez were shitting on Punk and blaming him for everything and Tony is a massive mark who books around dirt sheet and twitter reports, like pushing Toni Storm because they all say she's good and having no other reason for her to be pushed at all.
There is nothing that any of these guys have said that is any more credible than a random assumption made by anyone with a few connections to the industry.

Well, by all accounts, Tony has his panel of guys and it's not exactly impartial. They would all have political reasons to prefer one party over the other and I'd say a big factor is that the core of the aew office are EVP friends who were hired to do jobs they don't know how to do. There are very obvious problems with the way aew operates and that has never been addressed properly. Trial by popularity contest where friends of one side make up a majority of voting power is hardly fair.
Like, whatever. But for the actual product, Punk was providing way better content for the shows than the EVPs. The Bucks and Kenny oversee the tag and women's divisions as part of their roles and those are two of the worst booked things in a company where nothing is booked well. Punk's contribution to the show, his actual output and his star power, had been far more valuable to the quality of the programming than the EVP teen drama about kissing your friends and doing literally nothing else.
This was an opportunity to see the problems in management and switch things around to improve the company and instead it seems they have opted to double down on the bad decisions from day 1 and refuse to sort out the problems. Which has been the Tony Khan agenda all along.

With all these different stories where nobody knows the actual truth because shit keeps getting contradicted, and thenNick Hausman being the one to start reporting on stuff from Punks camp now. This has to be the start of some Punk vs the media angle for his return. It just lines up too well. I also just cant see Tony whos a huge Punk mark being ok with buying his contract out instead of just trying to work things out with him. He could easily just have Punk work on ROH and help that brand if Punk really doesnt want to be on AEW for whatever reason.
