Any other reason and it's just stupidity. He has a good look. He has some personality. He has done great with the Chase U stuff and the crowd likes him. Him getting cut also messes up the Chase U storyline.
This feels like Persia and Dexter getting cut during the middle of their storyline with Indi/Duke and screwing them over for a year.

Yan wasn't good and Sloane while pretty, was not good either. Feng had a cool look, but didn't have much else going on and we only saw Griffin a couple times, but he did okay.
