Despy was booked for BotSJ the week following this match, but had to drop out due to Jun Kasai shattering his jaw. Despite getting his jaw shattered in the first few minutes of the match Despy insisted that they restart the match so they could give the fans what they paid for. His actions earned the respect of the booking grandpas and instead of punishing him for getting injured working in a random indie show and missing their big tournament, they decided to reward him by giving him the push as soon as his jaw healed.
