The government saw how disruptive imageboards could be pretty early on and know how to crush the people running them. Attack them mentally and financially until it just becomes not worth the effort. The government and powers that be must always have us herded onto these little digital reservations. They are always watching, always ready to take control of the narrative. We are all conditioned to follow all these subtle queues. We have the illusion of freedom as long as we fall back into line. The internet is the all-gazing panopticon.
