I believe the 2018 Draft followed by the Wildcard Rule was when WWE dropped off in quality and it's been on a steady decline ever since. I don't watch the weekly shows anymore but I'm guessing only now (Wrestlemania Dallas followed by the Vince debacle and on) has it started to pick up. But I bet still feels soulless compared to this.
