Literally had the newly crafted world title belt handed to him on RAW.
>RVD
In a ring with Stone Cold Steve Austin and The Rock, RVD got the most cheers. He would have outclassed, outworked, outspoke, outpromo'd and outdo Haitch in every category and Hunter's ego couldn't take it. Rob was likely stoned for half his matches and never missed a beat and that whole chamber match was a shitshow for everyone involved and is a miracle its as good as it is.
>Booker T
WCW's collapse was in spite of Booker, not because of him. Even without Goldberg debuting after 'Mania, humilating Booker racially and in the ring was uncalled for and the whole buildup had Booker winning all over it, but Haitch wouldn't job to him so soon after WCW's collapse and him being one of the nappy headed folk.
>Kane
Kane was still white hot, especially before he lost his mask and after his performance at the 2001 Rumble. A run with the belt was justified and well earned at this time period.
You conveniently forgot
>Chris Jericho
Who even got a world title match at Mania against Hunter, but begged and pleaded for it to be higher up the card so they wouldn't follow Hogan and Rock but Hunter's dickish "world title match goes on last" mentality saw them perform in front of a deflated crowd. Hunter undoubtedly played a major role in him leaving the company.
Trips got only two people over in that run, and they were his handchosen and with Flair beside him, it was a 3 year jerk off ego trip. In the end, it succeeded, but now one of them left for Hollywood and is on his way to being a tranny because he was sick of Hunter's shit and the other one is still around but hit the glass ceiling and saw the sledgehammer underneath that he was never going to get past and coasted the rest of his career on autopilot.
Trips is change the channel watch something else energy and even if you see where the show is by flipping through again to something else, he still isn't done his fucking promo.
