>>7839605>>7839624The reason Sammy isn't a real pillar yet like MJF and Darby but has the *potential* to be unlike Jungle Boy is because Sammy is immature and hasn't grasped he's supposed to be a villain who gets booed and necessarily must be disliked. It takes real growing up to realize that it's sometimes necessary and good to have everyone hate you and that maybe you are just naturally an unlikable douchebag.
Because he's definitely a competent wrestler with great performative instincts. He is just currently suffering from a mental block where he can't understand why he can't be a "cool heel" like MJF and that booing doesn't necessarily = go-away heat.
Chris Jericho has been playing up the complete asshole angle to high hell and is drawing heat with people who stick around to watch. With Sammy paired with him, there's a better chance of converting it from go-away heat into just regular "I really want to see you bitches get your fucking asses kicked."
