Pro wrestling moves can be learned, charisma can't. It's far easier to make naturally charismatic entertainers into pro wrestlers than it is to make indie shitters into entertaining characters and it's not even close. Hell, wrestling is such a flexible medium that even if you somehow couldn't make the entertainer into a serviceable wrestler you could still just make them put on an entertaining match through shenanigans and fuckery like they did with Johnny Knoxville's match at Wrestlemania.
