Heenan hated that Tony would never play off of him unless it was mere disgruntlement.

The reason it worked better is because Don Callis (Cyrus) was a heel, so it compliments the babyface of the duo which was clearly Styles. A double babyface commentary team is lame as fuck.

Matt Striker and Vamprio were incredible together, and it's probably favorite team of all time. Striker especially worked Meltzer and Alvarez into seething shoots for exaggerating wrestlers... on a show that featured time travel and Aztec gods.
