Whiffed punches are caught on camera all the time. What usually happens with something like this is it gets put on botchamania, laughed at and webm’d/gif’d Instead you had people in the industry shitting on this spot both inside and outside the company and the guy actually wrote up an apology and explanation for it.
It made no sense how this was the one time people couldn’t get over something like this. It wasn’t the first time and won’t be the last time we see a barrage of punches landing a mile away from the target. It looked like shit but I’ve never seen such backlash to something like this.
