The only valid reason to watch modern wrestling, is if you’ve seen every major televised house show (such as MSG), tv special and PPV from the 50s until 2015, from WWE, WCW, AJPW, NJPW, CMLL, AWA, Smokey mountain, TNA, ECW, and every other major promotion in history. All of it is better than any product is right now, and I can tell, without having seen any of it, because all smarks can do nowadays is argue over which promotion is less awful. If you haven’t even seen the classics, like the golden age manias and starcades, you have no fucking business wasting your time on current WWE or AEW. The only reason you do, is because you’re caught up in a fucking circle jerk about how much worse the other promo is. Stop wasting your short lives and watch good wrestling.
