>>7900974The TNT title has lost its identity and there's no need for separate ROH & AEW trios belts. And there's no need for ROH PPVs this year - Death Before Dishonor, Final Battle, etc
Tony Khan should have done a more slow burn build of ROH over the summer/fall and if he's spinning his wheels thinking WBD is going to give him TV time for ROH when WBD barely cares about Rampage and Battle for the Belts and want nothing to do with Elevation and Dark. he would have been better off giving ROH a weekly segment on Rampage called "Ring of Rampage" that would feature a rotating defense of ROH's 5 (FIVE!) midcard belts: tag/TV/women/trios/Pure with a video package hyping the following week's match. And then build to a ROH vs AEW "Forbidden Door" title unification match in December/January or just use it to pad out the undercard of Full Gear which is ice cold anyway
Basically do what WCW did with UWF at Starrcade 87 or what NXT just did with NXT UK at When Worlds Collide.
Then he should re-think what ROH should be for 2023 instead of just continuing on with the Delerious bad boring booking that drove ROH out of business. ROH and AEW have the same style so there's no difference - its not like CZW vs ROH or WWF vs ECW or NJPW vs UWF-i. There's no rivalry, there's no heat, there's no reason for wrestlers to care about ROH vs AEW so why should fans?
