I remember one of the last Smackdown's I saw Chris wrestle. He got his opponent on the turnbuckle and then legit repeatedly headbutted his ass until Benoit was the one bleeding from the head, and that was just a random televised match not leading into a ppv or anything. The guy treated every match like life or death, as if it was going to be the best match of the eyar.
Shawn gets flak for his style, his flamboyance and such, but one oft not spoke of aspect was his timing. Kurt Angle mentioned if you give Shawn 20 minutes to work, he's wrapping things up by 19:30. You give him 15 minutes on the mic, he's got everything across and finished his promo at 14:59.
Its great we got to see them wrestle.
