He has nobody to feud with for the belt. Tiny hasn't built up anyone as a credible threat.

He inevitably has to do a same event with Darby (who hasn't even been built up for lesser belts in the meantime) or underused guys like Ricky Starks (who's been all things considered buried harder than Darby [and could also use some bulking up to be more credible]).

I dislike obviously choreagraphed matches. When you build one that's super micromanaged, you have to rehearse it to the point where you don't miss a beat and nobody can tell you all spent tens of hours putting it together beforehand.
The pin sequence looked especially inorganic.

There's a big difference between popping the marks and working the smart marks.

You have the wrong idea. It wasn't the shouting per se that was bad. It was that all many old guys ever did was shout the whole way through the promo. Jake Roberts just did the opposite and hardly raised his voice.

Perfection is Randy Savage, using multiple tenors at frequent intervals all throughout the promo: extremely quiet and extremely loud and everything in-between, yeah. DOING THE THING.
