There was credible, popular talent there. Even Vince knew that when he listed off WCW names for crowd reaction on the day of the buyout. Also, funny enough, DDP's unmasking in 2001 (with the gay stalker story) was absolutely one of the biggest crowd pops of the entire year and then that was blown on nothing.
