To see what was going to happen at the PPV. There's a reason why all of the classic free moments on TV were from interview show segments.

This is obviously not counting SNME and the Main Event, which they had to put meaningful matches on so they could stay on network TV. Promising stars but delivering jobber squashes is what lost them the TBS slot.
