this perfectly encapsulates the difference between AEW and WWE. AEW feels like a real television show with story beats and character development, not something I’d be embarrassed to watch if someone walked into the room.

Actually 'beats' are the one critical thing that AEW storytelling completely lacks. In a way, the use the matches as substitutes for story beats and it fucking sucks
