I forgot which night had Cody but we were talking about him probably returning, he seemed extremely hype for Cody which confused the hell out of me since he was always just kinda average anywhere he went.
When Cody’s “Wrestling has more than one royal family” part of his theme finally hit I immediately said, “ah it is Cody”. My Co-worker was confused and didn’t recognize the theme at all and asked me how I knew it was Cody even though his song was playing and his logo popped up. Finally Cody came out and he marked the fuck out.
Were most drones like this and only pretended to give a shit about Cody despite not following any of his post WWE career? Even his theme song wound up getting record plays and downloads after mania despite him having that song for years.
