Nielson looks at the number of households watching but anything other than that is literally just guessing, there's no way to tell how many people are watching a show, so what Nielson does is simply double the household numbers when it comes to viewership and that's where you get these claims of "10 million people were watching wrestling on Mondays back in my day" when there's no actual way to tell whether that was true or not
