>>7981847>This match was built for eddie and akiyama to have a singles match at the ppv.>>7981854>>7981859It's hard to correct this because there's so much going on here and at this point, Jun/Eddie is just speculation:
1) They should have had hype videos and packages on Akiyama. They basically announced him cold and assumed everyone knows him like they always do with Japanese guys. Show some footage, have people talk about what a legend he is, maybe get him to do a promo and so forth.
2) The follow up match would not be the next night...on a pre-show to a ppv. It's going to be a long PPV match and something that gets built to. And I'm sure as hell not ending Rampage without announcing that.
3) I don't know if I'm doing the tag or not. Either way, whether I do a tag or a singles match, Eddie gets beat by Jun. Then he is down for a few weeks after blowing his dream match, maybe goes to Japan (or they make it seem like it does) and begs Jun for another shot. Then Eddie either beats Jun or he loses a close one and wins the next if you can get Jun back.
The match sucked. It built to an obvious finish with Jun and Eddie yet we got little of it and had Jun beat Ortiz instead.
