early/mid 90s had some great in ring stories, without them even being booked
and then the late 90s had some great stories leading to gimmick matches with refernces to it

now its just
wrestler is wrestling other wrestler because reasons (no reasons)
wrestler does flip, other wrestler no sells it and does flip back, which is no sold

I think the problem with today's storylines is that people have to actually make shit up and think that is what is happening. It is mainly done by trannies but it still happens. So is it on the storytelling or the weirdo making up headcanon?
