The problem with WWE before was that guys like Triple H weren't in charge of creative. Get rid of AEW, bring guys like Regal over to WWE, suddenly WWE becomes 2015-2018 NXT but with an even more serious roster.

No, the only reason why I'd want AEW to stay alive right now is to serve as CONTAINMENT. It's keeping all the cringe uber nerds who just gravitate towards AEW because they care about "Le epic Twitter drama that is LE REAL!!!!" in one fucking place. A place that's far away from where the good shit is in WWE right now.

Money mark had an opportunity with AEW and his money supply to possibly kick start another wrestling boom period after decades of decline. However small a chance of that happening, it was still there. Instead he decided to double down on everything wrong with modern day wrestling, everything that drove away millions of casuals. Casuals will choose to watch a mediocre but real mma fight over a greatest of all time pro wrestling match, everytime. Instead of taking advantage of the pre-determined nature of pro wrestling (being able to do good long term storytelling, etc), Tiny Con has decided to focus entirely on its downsides with the overly choreographed dogshit that his toys insist on doing. AEW deserves to die for squandering one of, if not the last, opportunities to revive pro wrestling. Tiny, AEW fans and a lot of the AEW roster are everything wrong with modern day wrestling, are a large reason why casuals would be embarrassed to watch this dogshit sport and have ensured that pro wrestling continues to die a slow death.
