Tony trying to push ex-WWE people and Thunder Rosa being an unprofessional hag really. Jamie Hayter has the most natural rise in AEW yet because it's literally only from her in ring work. It's the most natural way to get over, hit hard and be tough as hell. Take good bumps. Her match last night was definitely the best AEW womens match.

Can you name a single angle or push in AEW that actually ended up with a satisfying pay off or some sort of meaningful ending to it? Like, aside from the Hangman Omega arc I can't think of any, Tony just has ADHD booking where one week he'll start doing something then take it off tv for a few weeks while he's pushing someone else then randomly we get reminded that this person still exists.
Remember Scorpio Sky? Remember FTR? Remember when Bryan wasn't a jobber? Remember Hookhausen or Hook in general? Remember Brian Cage? Remember Wheeler Yuta, he was massively over last year, so he gets to carry bags and do nothing for a year.

Tony thought she was over. When he realized she wasn't then he dropped her. Happens all the time in wrestling. You try, you fail, you move on. At least Tony owed to his mistake and fixed it on time.

With Thunder Rosa's absence not fully explained except that she's injured and how AEW overall hardly comments on the matter. Adding the "interim" to the championship devalues whoever the current champion is. Instead, Rosa should have been stripped since she is unable to defend and issued a #1 contenders position upon returning.

Sadly, regardless of what company you're talking about. Issuing an "interim" championship hardly benefits the title holder or original champion. The blowoff match and/or feud is never fulfilling.

I think big problem Tony has is that's he fallen into the trap of every story being told either has to have a big twist or come to a conclusion at PPV. If you're the WWE and you run one every month, it's easier. When you're running three-four a year, it's impossible to keep something in the midcard going that long.
He needs to learn to wrap some of this shit on television so it doesn't sour and get people to lose interest in the characters involved.
