CyberFight could've outbid Tony if Takagi was desperate enough. The reality is Takeshita has pretty much done everything in DDT and promotions have been trying to poach him for awhile now. I know NJPW tried to take Takeshita and Endo the same time they got Kenny and Ibushi.

You have to hope Tony is spending a lot of his mark money and giving it directly to DDT (Or Takagi) because otherwise it's so sad.

New Japan is kind of getting fucked by AEW too, but they are obviously making money out of it and still protecting all their top guys. Takagi needs more self respect.

Yes but AEW at least doing something with them like Forbidden Door and have AEW talents appeared in NJPW US shows. We didn't see any AEW talents appears in DDT.

I doubt Tony's paying that much for Takeshita. CyberFight could've matched or went a little higher without hurting the budget. Also Takagi is the head honcho and gets to make the decisions. CyberAgent's only real demand is investments in NOAH which is being done.

AEW has been a really lousy partner for DDT/AEW in general. They take their wrestlers last minute to stick them on Youtube and Rampage, do nothing to promote them, send nobody over but the occasional Dark/Darl Elevation fodder, and openly fawn over how much more they prefer NJPW because Tony is a mark who gets all of his wrestling opinions from the Observer and Dave doesn't watch CyberFight.

They put their logo in the titantron, set up indy dates for their wrestlers, feature them on their shows, pay them, provide travel ans accommodation for them and it helped increase visibility, wrestling being sought out by other promotion and made Wrestle Universe have record subscriber numbers from overseas.
