You're grading two different things.
Rating a match based on the content of the match is just that and there are plenty of matches that can take you on an emotional rollercoaster without knowing a single thing about what lead to it.
If I'm rating it based on a storyline, I'm not just recommending or telling you to skip a single match, but multiple promos, previous matches and angles.
Personally if you send me a link to a match you think is good I'll watch it. If you tell me I also have to watch multiple segments of television across multiple months I'll probably watch something else.
