>>8021755>Marks believe everything in Kayfabe is true? Not necessarily at this point; historically yes, but the business has been so exposed that's no longer the case.
A mark is someone who takes it all at face value, such an NPC that they usually react however they're told to react. They have simplistic views and are fairly easy to please.
They aren't necessarily normal people; normal people have a lower tolerance for hokey bullshit and are less loyal to the product.
>Smarksstraight-up principled contrarians; their nature is to criticize and ridicule
very difficult to please, will often think the opposite of what the promotion wants them to, just out of spite
ravenous for shoot drama
typical hate-watchers
generally speaking, smarks love to hate; it may seem as if they hate so much that it'd make more sense if they just stopped watching, when if fact they derive more enjoyment from booing something than cheering anything
>Anti-Smarknot a simpleton, more akin to a smark than a mark, but not prone to the compulsion to hate things; they are critical, but not principledly contrarian
they appreciate high quality regardless of if it's something that for whatever reason personally appeals to them; tries to approach the product reasonably
is basically just a higher caliber of fan; doesn't mindlessly support what the promotion pushes, but also doesn't reject it just because the promotion pushed it
