A welterweight, he had his first professional fight at UFC 203 in 2016, losing via submission to Mickey Gall. He then lost his second fight to Mike Jackson via unanimous decision at UFC 225 in 2018 (later overturned to a no-contest) and was subsequently released. He is often considered one of the worst fighters in UFC history.

It was a quick stoppage. He wasn’t tapping, you see it in mma where they’re trying punch their way out of a sub but it looks like slaps.

It’s also fucked up dana gave him a dude with way more experience when other fighters get to fight cans first. I don’t get Dana trying to basically “bury” the biggest name in his company outside of Brock.

No one else could draw since randy, chuck, spider etc were all gone.

He wasn’t mentally in the game anymore, and had numerous injuries from pro wrestling and training.

If he was a few years younger I have no doubt he could been a top 5-7 fighter. Imagine a punk young and hungry with a chip on his shoulder. He’d be a smaller Lesnar.

abyone who wasnt interested in and didnt play sports growing up is not going to do well stepping in actual shoot competitive environments at an older age. its like starting to learn a musical instrument at 40 years old. you can do it, but its a slow process and significantly harder.
