Main issue was it was directionless after Hangman won the title. Everything before that seemed thoroughly planned and after like TK was winging it.

His first half of his run was doing the belt collector shit and then de defended vs OC somewhere in there and PAC. The second half (and really his whole run with not so subtle hints) was just about putting Hangman over as the new ACE (which failed seeing as MOX became that later on)

It was a weird one because he was kinda forced to be a shitheel because there were so few top level contenders they needed to preserve them with cheating in case that was what they were stuck with. Once more high level guys came into the company, they started winding that down a bit. I really want to see another Kenny run with the current roster.

If you think Kingston vs MJF is something to look forward to or kick off MJF's reign and by extension watch the show then you're part of the problem. A feud with a fat gay guy is not going to elevate MJF or the company. There is no argument against that. 1 million or more viewers are not going to start tuning in because of that feud.

Hangman’s reign will always be a weird one to me. Absolute Cold feuds and a boring character but always, ALWAYS delivered tremendously in ring. If Bryan wasn’t the one to take the belt, I wish they let him just turn on Punk. He was finally starting to get interesting but only right at the very end of his reign.

In a lot of ways hangmans run was worse then Punks. Punks was over in a flash thanks to injury and had some of the better storylines in AEW.

Hangmans dragged and dragged with him mopping like a pussy the entire time making his frowny faces and butterfly pants. The bucks pr manager meltzer made sure to throw him extra stars because the buicks probably asked him to.
