The pinnacle of wrestling to be sure. Even the opening video package was better than anything that came after. Wrestlemania X-7 was professional wrestling at its very best and it was the best time to be a fan.

I don't have to imagine. I didn't go to the show, but I had a gf who loved wrestling at the time. She manipulated and cheated for years, probably was with another guy after WM17 ended.

2001 was Limp Bizkit, Korn, Slipknot, System of a Down. I listened to Nirvana back then because I wasn't cool, but in the early 2000s Nirvana was considered passe.
