The ending to that match made no sense, nobody could explain it, and they didn't even try on tv with Regal, they went into some other bullshit and got shat on by the crowd then seemingly wrote the guy off tv. Now MJF's going to come back to mostly face reaction, try to be heel, and then have a random match with a face who just randomly ended a badly booked feud, and that face will get a weak reaction because he's going against a guy who gets cheered, so the face will lose even more momentum. It's so fucking bad but the one thing I will say is that it all would have worked much better with Punk. Dude has issues, but his storylines weren't this bad and he has the dynamic where he can work heel or face and it doesn't really hurt him.
